Bring your gardening shoes and help plant a tree!
The Friends of the Parks annual Great Tree Canopy Comeback Event
is held every year in October! Typically the 3rd Saturday of the month, from 10 a.m. to noon.
If you can't help plant a tree, donations are also welcome.
The Friends of the Parks helped plant trees at Kreager Park in 2024. Parks for 2025 are TDB - drop us an email to suggest which parks' canopies might need attention next!
BE A TREE CAPTAIN!
We invite you to help us as a TREE CAPTAIN if you have experience planting trees — whether you’re a trained volunteer or a professional in the landscape industry. If you are a professional, wear your business apparel and promote your services while you offer hands-on assistance and guidance as community volunteers plant trees.
